MOE & MONA UINI, OWNERS
JDog of Augusta, a full-service junk removal and hauling business, is eager to earn your trust and support throughout the CSRA. We are a veteran, and family owned business that strives to provide every customer with the best possible service, at the best possible price. Our core values of honesty, integrity, and commitment, shape the foundation for the way we do business, and how we treat our customers. These are values that were instilled in us during our time proudly serving our country, and now provide the framework of our business plan. We take pride in our community, and are very proud to be operating in the CSRA. We aim to not only give residents the best service possible, but give back to our community, and provide employment opportunities to our fellow veterans.
JDog of Augusta is owned and operated by the husband and wife teams of Ryan and Melissa Tobey, and Moe and Mona Uini. Melissa and Mona are sisters who have been involved with the military since birth. Both girls were born into Navy life, as their father is a retired US Navy Warrant Officer. When Melissa was 20, she decided to follow in her Father’s footsteps, and enlisted in the US Navy. Melissa spent 10 years in the Navy, proudly serving as an Aircrew Survival Equipment-man, or PR.
Ryan Tobey joined the US Navy at 21, and served as an Aviation Electrician-man, or AE. He proudly served for 12 years, but an unfortunate accident forced him to be medically retired in Ryan and Melissa met while working together at a helicopter squadron in San Diego California, and married in 2011. They have three girls, Jorden 14, Joey 12, Olivia 5, and a son Nick, who is 2. They moved to Evans, Georgia in 2014 after Ryan was retired from active duty to be closer to Melissa’s parents.
Moe and Mona Uini met when they were teenagers, and have been inseparable ever since. They have been married for 20 years and have five sons, Nimo 17, Nate 16, twins Noah and Isaiah 14, Isaac 4, and a daughter Sophia who is 6. While Mona and Moe are not veterans themselves, they have a sister and two nephews who are currently proudly serving in the US Navy, US Marine Corps, and US Army. Mona and Moe were also extremely active and supportive of Melissa while she was serving, regularly sending out care packages to her while she was deployed. Moe and Mona moved to Evans, Georgia in 2016 to be closer to Mona’s parents as well.
