Jim Andrews




Jim flies an American flag proudly out front of his house as a 4th generation war fighter and for his brothers and sisters still serving. He was born in New Jersey and raised in the Poconos, PA. He worked as an Account Manager for a contracted security agency until age 27 when he made the commitment to enlist in the United States Navy. After graduating boot camp, Jim attended his A School to become a Master at Arms (Military Police) in the summer of 2007 in San Antonio, Texas. He was then deployed to the Middle East and stationed in Manama, Bahrain. During his year in Bahrain he was part of the base security forces as well as spending time in Kuwait and one year as part of an individual augment attached a harbor security team in Dubai. In the fall of 2009, Jim was assigned to Mobile Security Forces Squadron 6 where he performed numerous anti-piracy missions throughout Europe and Africa, served on flight security operations in Africa and Panama, and was part of the humanitarian disaster relief effort in Haiti in 2010. From there he was station at Joint Expeditionary Base Little Creek/Ft Story where he served as Lead Watch Commander for the base Police Department.

He believes his most rewarding achievements were serving as squad leader for over 7 missions throughout Africa and the Middle East, becoming a Petty Officer Second Class, obtaining his Expeditionary Warfare Pin, qualifying as a lead instructor in Non-Lethal Weapons, and receiving his Coxswain qualification.

After serving eight years, Jim was honorably discharged from active duty. He now enjoys time with his wife and two children in Bethlehem, PA, hunting and fishing with his kids, and serving on the board of directors/coaching for his local little league.
