Tim Melcher, Mary McDonald and Tom McDonald are the proud owners of JDog Junk Removal and Hauling in Reading, PA.

Tim has been a resident of the Berks County area for over 30 years. In addition to running a JDog franchise, he’s also a mortgage lender with Fidelis Mortgage, another Veteran-owned company. Tim is proud to serve his local community in honor of his grandfather, a U.S. Army Veteran. After serving as a sergeant and squadron leader in Germany during World War II, his grandfather received the Purple Heart and several other medals for his service.

Tom and Mary McDonald have also lived in Berks County for decades. They moved from New York where Tom was a NYPD detective. Tom and Mary also work as real estate agents in the Central Pennsylvania area. This is how they met Tim.

Together, Tim, Mary, and Tom have created a strong business relationship with a shared mission to serve the local community and Veteran population. They’re eager to grow their JDog business by hiring more Vets and Military family members to help provide the greater Reading area with respectful, eco-friendly junk removal and hauling services. In addition to supporting service men and women, they’re driven by JDog’s commitment to keep 60-80% of the items hauled away out of the local landfill. It’s just another way they can help build a better community together.
