Joshua Helm

Raised in Little Canada, Joshua grew up playing baseball, soccer, golf and hockey for White Bear Lake. He enjoyed camping trips with his family in Brainerd and trying to keep up with his big brother on long bike rides around the Twin Cities.

After graduating high school, Joshua joined the Army as a Motor Transport Operator. In 2006 Joshua served in his first tour to Iraq and then again in 2008. For his service, Joshua received 2 Army commendation medals, 2 Army conduct medals as well as many other medals, Ribbons and awards.

In 2012 after 8 years of service and 2 deployments to Iraq Joshua got out of the Army as a Sergeant to persuade his dream of working in the culinary arts. Using the Army Values he learned while serving, Joshua quickly earned positions in some of the top restaurants in Minnesota working alongside award-winning Chefs.

While gaining a multitude of knowledge about the restaurant industry he was approached by his good friend and successful entrepreneur Andrew Weins about working with JDog.  Andy’s passion and excitement for the endeavor he had embarked on left an incredible impression on Joshua in regards to a business that would not only help his planet and his community but would empower and employe fellow Veterans.

In his spare time, Joshua enjoys cooking, golfing, traveling and spending time with family and friends
