JDOG YORK, PA
SEAN HANEY, OWNER
I hail from Cooksville, a little town in Maryland about halfway between Baltimore and Frederick. I attended elementary school in Frederick, MD and secondary school in Baltimore, MD. I attended the University of Maryland, College Park, before enlisting in the United States Marine Corps.
Although I did not make the Marine Corps my career, I found among my brother and sister Marines the qualities of honor, loyalty and patriotism that I was taught as a young man and have treasured throughout my life. I spent the majority of my career, after leaving the Marine Corps, working as an engineer in temperature and process controls, non-contact thickness measurement of plastics and materials and in hydraulic controls. While each of these were fine professions, none of them were fulfilling and none of them espoused the Marine Corps characteristics that I so highly prize.
As an owner of a JDog Junk Removal & Hauling franchise I have finally found a way to couple the pride I have in my service to the United States of America with a commitment to serve my community. While I am, of course, dedicated to operating a successful business in the community, I am equally passionate about helping my brother and sister Veterans and their families transition back into civilian life through employment opportunities I intend to create.
Using the JDog values of Respect, Integrity and Trust, I intend to provide quality professional services through my dedication to Veterans, their families and the greater community at large. Thank you for taking the time to view this short bio and for the opportunity to serve.
