James McLendon knew that one day he would start his own business. After retiring from 16 years of military service, he wanted to do something that would keep him physically active while continuing to serve his family, community, and Veterans. When he discovered JDog shares the values of all U.S. Marines—Respect, Integrity, and Trust—he joined forces to open a JDog Junk Removal franchise in Chino, CA.
James joined the U.S. Marine Corps right out of high school. While stationed in Michigan, he met his wife, Carly. Shortly after getting married, he deployed to the Middle East in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom, Operation Enduring Freedom, and Operation Moonlight in Jordan. He served in a wide range of Marine units ranging from Intelligence, Air Wing Support, Communications, and the highly decorated 2nd Battalion 5th Marines before retiring and planting roots in Southern California.
James and his family enjoy spending time together and enjoying the natural wonders of this world. His ultimate goal is to do what he loves while giving back to his San Bernardino County community and creating something that can be passed down for generations. The JDog Junk Removal and Hauling business fulfills these goals. Not only does he offer residents and business owners in Chino respectful service, but he also supports a company dedicated to Veteran business ownership and eco-friendly junk removal.
Whether removing furniture and appliances from a home or office, James and his JDog team is committed to reusing, recycling, reselling, and repurposing your items whenever possible. In fact, 60-80% of the items we haul away are kept out of California landfills. It’s our way of protecting the natural world wonders James loves so much.
