Aaron Powell joined the United States Marine Corps in 1996 and received an honorable discharge in 2000 due to an injury. This didn’t stop him from staying active in the Veteran community. He served as Commandant in his local Marine Corps League, organized Toys for Tots drives for many years, and continues to volunteer in his community.

The village of East Syracuse is a suburb of the City of Syracuse in eastern Onondaga County, New York. This is where Aaron and his wife Erin bought a small hobby farm in 2020. While working on the property, they realized they loved working for themselves. Tearing down buildings and restoring others gave them a new appreciation for junk removal and hauling. They also wanted to pursue a business that was heavily involved in the Veteran community. JDog was the perfect match.

Now that they run JDog Junk Removal and Hauling Syracuse East, they continue to work on projects large and small throughout their community. From light demolition and removing construction debris to cleaning out residential and commercial properties, Aaron and Erin carry on the Military principles of Respect, Integrity, and Trust as they support the local area and fellow Veterans.
