Christopher Myers grew up in Findlay, OH, but after graduating high school, he set his sights on the world and joined the United States Marine Corps. Over his five years on active duty, he worked on F/A-18 Hornet aircraft as an aviation electronics technician and was deployed to Japan, Thailand, and Australia as part of the Unit Deployment Program and then Iraq as part of Operation Iraqi Freedom.
After leaving the service, Christopher moved to south Florida and earned a bachelor’s degree in aviation business. Then he continued to work as an aviation electronics technician in general aviation for many years.
While he’s proud and fortunate to have traveled the world meeting and working with people from all walks of life, he yearned for those small town charms. Not only was he looking for a place to raise his family, but he also wanted to make more of a positive impact. So he made the move from bustling Florida back to Northwest Ohio where he could reconnect with family, friends, and the community.
Transitioning out of aviation was not in the original plan, but when the opportunity came up to open a JDog Junk Removal and Hauling franchise in Findlay, Christopher and his wife knew it would be a good fit. As an entrepreneur, Christopher can apply his business degree and the leadership skills learned from the Military to proudly serve the Hancock County area.
As a company dedicated to supporting Veterans and providing sustainable junk removal services, joining JDog was the perfect solution for making that positive impact.
