Cody Bishop was born in Arkansas, but he lived in several states growing up before moving to Utah where he currently resides with his family. The Bishops enjoy spending time outdoors camping, fishing, snowmobiling, and serving their Salt Lake County community. Cody’s dedication to service and supporting Veterans is what inspired him to open a JDog Junk Removal and Hauling franchise in Salt Lake City, UT. He comes from a long line of Veterans and has served for six years in the United States Air Force himself. Now it’s time to give back.
Cody’s time in the Air Force took him to San Antonio, TX; Great Falls, MT at Malmstrom Air Force Base—where Cody provided security for nuclear weapons as a Security Forces Team Leader; and back to Utah where he was stationed at Hill Air Force Base. Being back in Utah shifted Cody’s focus to education and starting a family. Cody earned his Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Utah State University and now gets to have fun with his family while growing his junk removal business.
As a JDog Junk Removal and Hauling franchise owner, Cody gets to satisfy his drive for service by providing Salt Lake residents and fellow business owners with everything from furniture and appliance removal to home and warehouse cleanout. He also gets to support fellow Veterans by expanding his JDog team. Once a proud leader in the Air Force, Cody now leads as a locally owned and operated Veteran business in the SLC area.
